Just a few years ago, Maxim Dohrmann was living in Hamburg, working as a paramedic for the local rescue service. When Russia launched its full-scale invasion, he traveled to Ukraine as a volunteer, eventually settling in Dnipro to found Artesans-ResQ Ukraine.

In March, we continued to prioritize high-acuity cases, with all missions involving patients requiring advanced ICU-level care, while ensuring safe transport of pediatric and neonatal patients and maintaining cross-border evacuation capacity with national partners.

In February, we continued to focus on the most challenging cases, managing a high volume of evacuations for patients with severe burn trauma (many remained in critical condition with burns covering up to 90–95% of the body). Artesans ResQ-Ukraine is an NGO that saves lifes, ensuring critically ill adults, children, and newborns reach the urgent care they need across Ukraine.

From the beginning of 2026, we are focusing on more complex and prolonged critical care transfers while strengthening the EMS system through targeted trainings. Our mission remains the same: to provide safe, timely, high-quality critical care transport and save lives when it matters most!
